How Can Anxiety Be Prevented

anxietyAnxiety can be prevented only if you want to overcome from it. It is totally dependent on your state of mind and will-power, that do you really want to overcome your anxiety or not?

The various measures that can be taken to prevent anxiety are:

·    Exercise daily and eat a healthy, balanced diet.

·    Start doing yoga and meditation.

·    Stop or reduce your consumption of products that contain caffeine, such as coffee, tea, cola and chocolate.

·    Ask your doctor or pharmacist before taking any over-the-counter medicines or herbal remedies. Many contain chemicals that can increase anxiety symptoms.

·    Take proper rest and night sleep.

·    Have less work pressure and other stress.

·    Practice deep abdominal breathing by breathing in slowly through the nose, filling the lungs taking it down to your stomach and then slowly breathing out also slowly through your mouth without doing this for too long as this could lead you to feel faint and dizzy from the extra oxygen. Do it for 25-30 minutes daily.
