In my series of information about phobia (or disorder), today I will give tell you about Social Phobia. Have you ever seen some one afraid of social gathering or social performance or any situation where he or she can be observed? Well if answer is ‘YES’, this is not a worthy of being ignored.

What is the meaning of Social Phobia?

Social Phobia, Which is also known as Social anxiety disorder (SAD, SAnD) is an anxiety disorder characterized by intense fear in social situations. In this disorder people fear social situations where they might be embarrassed or judged. When put in a social situation where they might become anxious sufferers have symptoms such as a racing heart, trembling, blushing or even sweating.

Agoraphobia –What it really mean?

All types phobia are unreal fear .These fears can be of different things. Agoraphobia means afraid of being out side or of being where it will behard to come out. Victims do not want to go in a crowded place and even avoid standing in queue meetings and social gatherings.

Causes of Agoraphobia

Experts believe that agoraphobia is caused by a combination of biological and environmental factors, much like other disorders, such as heart disease and diabetes. Some other says that this is result of panic disorder. How To Treat Anxiety

There are various treatments of anxiety. The specific treatment approach depends on the type of anxiety disorder and its severity. However, in general most anxiety disorders are treated with behavioural therapy, medication, or some combination of the two. Various new researches have also revealed a number of beneficial complementary treatments for anxiety.
